Lake Odessa AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aromas FC the free kick. A collision led to Lake Odessa AFC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Theodore Bell hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Lake Odessa AFC's Walker Hernandez slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rickie Arden. That made the score 1-0 after 8 minutes of play. Rickie Arden took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Walker Hernandez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Charlie Dodson charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Charlie Dodson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Aromas FC booed when Lake Odessa AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Charlie Dodson didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Bryon Hyde's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Brendon Bragg was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Lake Odessa AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Walker Hernandez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rickie Arden made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Tommie Bland sent off a good shot on target. Walker Hernandez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tommie Bland was extremely unlucky when he, in the 37th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Aromas FC's Rickie Arden proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Aromas FC from getting a goal against them. Theodore Bell was shown his second yellow card after 44 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Lake Odessa AFC's Theodore Bell got a free kick in the 44th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wilton Lowry to make the kick off. Bryon Hyde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brendon Bragg having to interfere. Aromas FC's Rickie Arden tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Bryon Hyde made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 77thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Brendon Bragg would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Brendon Bragg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilton Lowry in the 80th minute of play. Brendon Bragg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wilton Lowry's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. After 88 played minutes Lake Odessa AFC got a freekick which was hit by Walker Hernandez. 91 minutes into the match, Lake Odessa AFC's goalkeeper Brendon Bragg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bryon Hyde. In the 97th minute Bryon Hyde suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. After 98 minutes, Jaime Ingram mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lake Odessa AFC and the Aromas FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 99th match minute, Lake Odessa AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaime Ingram to maneuver through the defense. Nathaniel Murphy could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 100th minute of the match, but Brendon Bragg made a huge save. Lake Odessa AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
