Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ulysses Staley started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Alfonso Galvan might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Woody Jaramillo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfonso Galvan ran back to his position shaking his head. If Brendan Enriquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Simon Velasco came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Mipau fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Simon Velasco couldn't finish the play. After 16 played minutes Mipau got a freekick which was hit by Jeremiah John. In the 17th minute of the match Milan Aguilera shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wyatt Pacheco showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 18th match minute, Mipau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeremiah John to maneuver through the defense. 25 minutes into the match, Ulysses Staley notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Mipau's Wyatt Pacheco. Wyatt Pacheco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dennis Ball missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 29 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Woody Jaramillo right hand side. After having played for 32 minutes, Simon Velasco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mipau's supporters crossed their fingers, but Simon Velasco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Simon Velasco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 44 played minutes Mipau got a freekick which was hit by Fred Countess.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Simon Velasco to make the kick off. Brendan Enriquez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Wyatt Pacheco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Simon Velasco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mipau's supporters rose to their feet, but Simon Velasco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Woody Jaramillo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 64th minute Brendan Enriquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wyatt Pacheco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulysses Staley in the 69th minute of play forced Mipau's goalkeeper Wyatt Pacheco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rd minute, Alfonso Galvan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tad Kelly hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Madera Acres FC's zone, Simon Velasco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Woody Jaramillo came out of the goal and Simon Velasco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Mipau's Winston Decker got a free kick in the 77th minute. Simon Velasco was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 82nd minute. Mipau's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 85th match minute, Mipau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeremiah John to maneuver through the defense. After 86 played minutes, Madera Acres FC's Erik Silva shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Wyatt Pacheco came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Madera Acres FC reached it. In the 87th minute, Simon Velasco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Madera Acres FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
