The supporters of Dade City booed when Virginia settlers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lance Bryson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wes Jarvis kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. 49 minutes into the match, Virginia settlers's goal looked a bit too open when Jarrod Foote came free, but Alex Crandall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Reggie Garretts short, quick shot in the 55thth minute got Alex Crandall to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The crowd rose to their feet as Reggie Garrett kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alex Crandall. That made the score 0-2 in the 57 minute of play.
