Bryon Hydes short, quick shot in the 28thth minute got Alex Crandall to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 34 minutes into the match, Virginia settlers's goalkeeper Alex Crandall had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bryon Hyde. Norman Bradshaw kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 48 minutes, Wilton Lowry took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Alex Crandall to make any attempt to save it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wilton Lowry made a kick off. Alex Crandall didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bryon Hyde went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Virginia settlers's zone, Wilton Lowry stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alex Crandall came out of the goal and Wilton Lowry tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 80 minutes into the match, Wilton Lowry notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Virginia settlers's Alex Crandall. Alex Crandall was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 93rd minute Wilton Lowry shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Crandall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
