Ernest Cunningham yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Aaron Levine showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oliver Holland in the 14th minute of the match. Dexter Platt struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Ernest Cunningham didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Orland AFC. When Johnathon Patel, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 19 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Ernest Cunningham was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Dexter Platt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. The supporters of Orland AFC booed when Crystal Cove F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giovanni Fuller didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daryl Sweet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Aaron Levine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Crystal Cove F.C.'s Ernest Cunningham proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Crystal Cove F.C. from getting a goal against them. Crystal Cove F.C.'s Ernest Cunningham played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Max Huston in the 45th minute of play. Ollie Eason fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aaron Levine having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Johnathon Patel made the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes of play Orland AFC's Malcolm Hills was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Malcolm Hills hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. If Ollie Eason had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th match minute, Orland AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stevie Minton to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Chuck Ward during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Chuck Ward hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 84th minute Daryl Sweet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aaron Levine saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Crystal Cove F.C.'s Daryl Sweet got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 94 minutes into the game, Daryl Sweet recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Aaron Levine. Daryl Sweet showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1.
