Alex Crandall made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Dexter Platt sent off a good shot on target. In the 15th minute, Johnathon Patel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lance Bryson's late challenge caught a Orland AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lance Bryson helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Orland AFC booed when Virginia settlers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lance Bryson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Johnathon Patel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Crandall having to interfere. In the 29th match minute, Virginia settlers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Norman Bradshaw to maneuver through the defense. Dexter Platt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Alex Crandall made a huge save. Johnathon Patel was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 33rd minute. Orland AFC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 43rd minute, Johnathon Patel fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Alex Crandall, passed just outside the right post. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

53 minutes into the match, Virginia settlers's goal looked a bit too open when Dexter Platt came free, but Alex Crandall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jordan Kent during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jordan Kent kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Johnathon Patel struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Alex Crandall didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Orland AFC.
