He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lake Odessa AFC reached it. If Walker Hernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. In the 26thth minute of the game Oren Lundy who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lake Odessa AFC's Brendon Bragg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Clinton Briggs kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the match, Lake Odessa AFC's Walker Hernandez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ronnie Kerns narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 31 minutes into the match, Lake Odessa AFC's goalkeeper Brendon Bragg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Reggie Garrett. If Tommie Bland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tommie Bland struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Ronnie Kerns didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lake Odessa AFC. Walker Hernandez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Walker Hernandez was the one to do the kick off. After 58 minutes of play Dade City's Clinton Briggs was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 59th minute, Clinton Briggs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jaime Ingram has a good long shot, which he once again showed in the 60th minute of the match. Unfortunately the ball hit the outside of the left post. Reggie Garrett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dade City's Ronnie Kerns played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walker Hernandez in the 72nd minute of play. Brendon Bragg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reggie Garrett, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Reggie Garrett might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Brendon Bragg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Reggie Garrett ran back to his position shaking his head. Ronnie Kerns made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walker Hernandez in the 82nd minute of play. Ronnie Kerns tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jake Kauffman was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Tommie Bland recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Despite being the better team, Lake Odessa AFC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
