The supporters of Dade City booed when Aromas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Houston Coyle didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 7th minute of the match Jarrod Foote shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rickie Arden showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 9 minutes into the match, Dade City's Oren Lundy sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rickie Arden narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 11th minute Wilton Lowry shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronnie Kerns saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oren Lundy in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rickie Arden saved Aromas FC from getting behind. A collision led to Aromas FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Eric Skinner hit a great ball. 31 minutes into the match, Aromas FC's goalkeeper Rickie Arden had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Reggie Garrett. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Reggie Garrett took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Rickie Arden to make any attempt to save it. Reggie Garretts short, quick shot in the 41stth minute got Rickie Arden to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Julio Thomas struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Ronnie Kerns didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aromas FC. Albert Story's late challenge caught a Aromas FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Albert Story helped the player get up and apologised. In the 44th minute, Albert Story hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julio Thomas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Ronnie Kerns tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Oren Lundy stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Houston Coyle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Ronnie Kerns tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wilton Lowry fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronnie Kerns having to interfere. Oren Lundy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Rickie Arden tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reggie Garrett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oren Lundy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rickie Arden read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Dade City's supporters rose to their feet, but Oren Lundy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rickie Arden breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ronnie Kerns made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Bryon Hyde sent off a good shot on target. 88 minutes into the match, Dade City's goalkeeper Ronnie Kerns had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bryon Hyde. Dade City's Oren Lundy got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Reggie Garrett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Aromas FC's Kip Greenwood got a free kick in the 96th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Aromas FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Dade City.
