Daryl Sweet started the match with the kick off. When Simon Velasco came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Mipau fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Simon Velasco couldn't finish the play. Rolf Jaramillo hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. The supporters of Mipau booed when Crystal Cove F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oliver Holland didn't get a good kick on the ball. Simon Velasco received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ernest Cunningham came out and tried to block the shot, but Simon Velasco slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 14th minute. In the 21st minute of the match Rolf Jaramillo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wyatt Pacheco showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 30 played minutes Mipau got a freekick which was hit by Fred Countess. Ernest Cunningham made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Alfonso Galvan sent off a good shot on target. Simon Velasco struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Ernest Cunningham didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mipau. After a rather tough play, Mipau's Earl Foreman got a free kick in the 38th minute. 45 minutes into the match, Crystal Cove F.C.'s goalkeeper Ernest Cunningham had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Simon Velasco. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Simon Velasco to strike the kick off in the second half. Conrad Horton was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 52nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Mipau's Winston Decker got a free kick in the 57th minute. 58 minutes into the match, Crystal Cove F.C.'s Conrad Horton broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a rather tough play, Mipau's Earl Foreman got a free kick in the 65th minute. A hard shot by Conrad Horton from long distance, 66 minutes into the match, got Wyatt Pacheco's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oliver Holland in the 72nd minute of play forced Mipau's goalkeeper Wyatt Pacheco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 73 played minutes Mipau got a freekick which was hit by Alfonso Galvan. Through an outstanding action, after 74 minutes, Wyatt Pacheco successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ernest Cunningham took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simon Velasco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Earl Foreman hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Simon Velasco struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Ernest Cunningham didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mipau.
