Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Napoleon McCarthy got the match started through his kick off. In the 6th match minute, Riverside was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virgil Morton to maneuver through the defense. Napoleon McCarthy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrick Newell having to interfere. In the 13th minute, Cason Cedillo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 15th minute, Eli Oliver hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Riverside's attack was well implemented in the 20th minute, but when Roosevelt Gallagher was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Sydney Call recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Shawn Chavez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Freddy Waller, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. If Freddy Waller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Derek Bryant hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Shawn Chavez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sydney Call in the 32nd minute of the match. Shawn Chavez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sydney Call, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Napoleon McCarthy in the 36th minute of play forced Valley Falls AFC's goalkeeper Patrick Newell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roosevelt Gallagher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sydney Call in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Shawn Chavez saved Riverside from getting behind. Sydney Call hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After 46 played minutes Valley Falls AFC got a freekick which was hit by Juan Gibson.

The wind increased when Sydney Call made the kick off in the second half. Valley Falls AFC's Patrick Newell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Napoleon McCarthy in the 57th minute of play. In the 59th minute of the match Riverside got a corner. Valley Falls AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sheldon Leon ran over to the corner to take the kick. 64 minutes into the match, Valley Falls AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Roosevelt Gallagher came free, but Patrick Newell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Valley Falls AFC defense, Napoleon McCarthy kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Patrick Newell. The Valley Falls AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Patrick Newell should have stopped the shot. Napoleon McCarthy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Patrick Newell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Shawn Chavez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sydney Call, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roosevelt Gallagher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrick Newell having to interfere. In the 81st minute, Sydney Call reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Shawn Chavez. The goal made the score 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sydney Call in the 84th minute of play forced Riverside's goalkeeper Shawn Chavez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Valley Falls AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Napoleon McCarthy came free, but Patrick Newell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, Napoleon McCarthy had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Patrick Newell. Valley Falls AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Napoleon McCarthy was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Riverside's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
