Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. John Newton started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, PRAIA GRANDE S.C's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after John Newton fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 10 played minutes Highland Acres got a freekick which was hit by Von Luna. Highland Acres's Marlon Stern played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tracey Bland in the 11th minute of play. When Johnnie Ulrich fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Highland Acres's protests and gave Johnnie Ulrich a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of PRAIA GRANDE S.C booed when Highland Acres was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johnnie Ulrich didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marlon Stern made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charles Franklin in the 13th minute of play. When Charles Franklin came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the PRAIA GRANDE S.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Charles Franklin couldn't finish the play. Highland Acres's Marlon Stern played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charles Franklin in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th minute, one of Highland Acres:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Highland Acres. Jerrod Fleming placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! In the 27th minute, Tracey Bland got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Charles Franklin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32nd minute Tracey Bland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marlon Stern saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Charles Franklin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tracey Bland in the 35th minute of play forced Highland Acres's goalkeeper Marlon Stern to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marlon Stern showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charles Franklin in the 39th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Highland Acres's zone, Charles Franklin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marlon Stern came out of the goal and Charles Franklin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jed Cochran's late challenge caught a PRAIA GRANDE S.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jed Cochran helped the player get up and apologised. After 47 played minutes Highland Acres got a freekick which was hit by Jed Cochran. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tracey Bland was the one to do the kick off. Charles Franklin kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Tracey Bland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of PRAIA GRANDE S.C booed when Highland Acres was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johnnie Ulrich didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 67 minutes of play, PRAIA GRANDE S.C's Tracey Bland made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marlon Stern was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tracey Bland recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 78th minute, Charles Franklin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PRAIA GRANDE S.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Charles Franklin got free with Marlon Stern in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match clock showed 85 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Tracey Bland sped through Highland Acres's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marlon Stern. After 88 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Highland Acres! When the match had been going on for 90 minutes, PRAIA GRANDE S.C's Jerrod Fleming got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Marlon Stern. When the match was over PRAIA GRANDE S.C could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Highland Acres throughout the match.
