Dante Saucedo came out of the goal and Rodrick Cerna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jarrod Bates sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. JINAN QuanYun FC's Stevie Brock got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cobi Wade took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Don Doyle. Barnwell's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Dante Saucedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrick Cerna in the 12th minute of the match. Stevie Brock was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 13th minute. JINAN QuanYun FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After a defensive mix-up in Barnwell's zone, Percy Baron stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Don Doyle came out of the goal and Percy Baron tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stevie Brock in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Don Doyle saved Barnwell from getting behind. 26 minutes into the game, Tuan Iverson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barnwell's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave JINAN QuanYun FC the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 25th minute of the game. One of Barnwell:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of JINAN QuanYun FC:s goal. The supporters of JINAN QuanYun FC booed when Barnwell was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sterling Bernal didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Barnwell getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Sterling Bernal hit a great ball. In the 43rd match minute, Barnwell was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jarrod Bates to maneuver through the defense. If Jarrod Bates had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Jarrod Bates made the kick off in the second half. If Rodrick Cerna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Royce Leach fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored JINAN QuanYun FC's protests and gave Royce Leach a yellow card for diving instead. After 59 played minutes JINAN QuanYun FC got a freekick which was hit by Royce Leach. Derick Blue was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 60th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When Percy Baron came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the JINAN QuanYun FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Percy Baron couldn't finish the play. After 71 minutes of play JINAN QuanYun FC's Royce Leach was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to JINAN QuanYun FC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Royce Leach hit a great ball. Rodrick Cerna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Saucedo having to interfere. Jarrod Bates sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jarrod Bates was extremely unlucky when he, in the 78th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Don Doyle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Percy Baron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Don Doyle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Percy Baron, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. In the 86th minute, Rodrick Cerna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
