Spectators: 6766 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1766, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jarrod Bates started the match with the kick off. Orange County Cookies's Benito Paris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrick Cerna in the 3rd minute of play. 5 minutes into the match, Orange County Cookies's goal looked a bit too open when Jarrod Bates came free, but Benito Paris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 5 minutes into the match, Jarrod Bates notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Orange County Cookies's Benito Paris. Benito Paris was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 13th minute of the match Barnwell got a corner. Orange County Cookies's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Derick Blue ran over to the corner to take the kick. 14 minutes into the game, Stewart Whatley was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Orange County Cookies's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barnwell the free kick. A collision led to Orange County Cookies getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Stewart Whatley hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Barnwell's zone, Stewart Whatley stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Don Doyle came out of the goal and Stewart Whatley tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 26th minute Thomas Juarez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Don Doyle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th minute, Berry Jimenez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thomas Juarez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Don Doyle having to interfere. The supporters of Barnwell booed when Orange County Cookies was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thomas Borden didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benito Paris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrick Cerna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 42 minutes into the game, Charles Saunders was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Orange County Cookies's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barnwell the free kick. Charles Saunders kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Orange County Cookies defense, Jarrod Bates kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Paris. The Orange County Cookies fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Paris should have stopped the shot. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Thomas Juarez was the one to do the kick off. Rodrick Cerna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Benito Paris made a huge save. Orange County Cookies's Benito Paris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jarrod Bates in the 63rd minute of play. Benito Paris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jarrod Bates, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Jarrod Bates recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tuan Iverson kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. 83 minutes into the game, Jarrod Bates recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Benito Paris. Jarrod Bates showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. If Stewart Whatley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Thomas Borden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Benito Paris made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rodrick Cerna in the 95th minute. Barnwell's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
