The referee ignored Stowe's protests and gave Eduardo Moser a yellow card for diving instead. Korey McNamara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Logan Daly charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Logan Daly the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 22nd match minute, Cayuga Heights AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Logan Daly to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Eduardo Moser managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stowe's supporters rose to their feet, but Eduardo Moser was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carson Hankins breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cayuga Heights AFC's Bradly Whitley got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Victor Rushing came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Cayuga Heights AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victor Rushing couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salvatore Dubose in the 44th minute of play forced Cayuga Heights AFC's goalkeeper Carson Hankins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Korey McNamara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Rocky Mackey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Eduardo Moser had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bradly Whitley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stowe's Rocky Mackey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Korey McNamara in the 69th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Stowe's zone, Victor Rushing stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rocky Mackey came out of the goal and Victor Rushing tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 74th minute, Victor Rushing hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 77th minute, Nicholas Black sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Cayuga Heights AFC's Carson Hankins didn't even have to move. In the 78th match minute, Cayuga Heights AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Toby Harrell to maneuver through the defense. Victor Rushing fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rocky Mackey having to interfere. Victor Rushing struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Rocky Mackey didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cayuga Heights AFC. If Korey McNamara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Cayuga Heights AFC had played much better football throughout.
