Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Thomas Juarez kicked off to start the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Thomas Borden during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Johnny Eckert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Paris having to interfere. When Charles Saunders fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Orange County Cookies's protests and gave Charles Saunders a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Orange County Cookies getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Charles Saunders hit a great ball. In the 17th match minute, Orange County Cookies was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Charles Saunders to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stewart Whatley in the 21st minute of play forced Phillipsburg's goalkeeper Kory Hall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Stewart Whatley came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Orange County Cookies fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stewart Whatley couldn't finish the play. Thomas Juarez struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Kory Hall didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Orange County Cookies. Geraldo Parra kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 29th minute, Charles Saunders hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Terry Call fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Paris having to interfere. Phillipsburg's Johnny Eckert got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 37 minutes, Terry Call made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Orange County Cookies's Benito Paris tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Phillipsburg's Cole Kaufman got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Johnny Eckert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stewart Whatley got free with Kory Hall in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Benito Paris stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Johnny Eckert's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Kory Hall came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Orange County Cookies's Thomas Juarez. But to his dismay, Thomas Juarez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Benito Paris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johnny Eckert in the 66th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Terry Call in the 71st minute of play forced Orange County Cookies's goalkeeper Benito Paris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Johnny Eckert took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Paris. Benito Paris dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. When Terry Call came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Phillipsburg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Terry Call couldn't finish the play. Johnny Eckert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Benito Paris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 87thth minute of the game Johnny Eckert who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Orange County Cookies's Benito Paris was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Terry Call had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Terry Call sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd minute Johnny Eckert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Paris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Orange County Cookies's zone, Terry Call stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Paris came out of the goal and Terry Call tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Terry Call received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Benito Paris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Orange County Cookies's Benito Paris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johnny Eckert in the 98th minute of play. Phillipsburg's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
