Spectators: 6768 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1768, VIP seats: 0) Thomas Juarez started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Sylvester Purvis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tesla TEC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sylvester Purvis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Paris breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristobal Carmichael fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Paris having to interfere. Brent Cherry hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Tesla TEC's James Bergstrom got control of the ball when Thomas Borden tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 18th minute Cristobal Carmichael shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Paris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Orange County Cookies were furious when Bernardo Hewitt was red carded, 22 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The crowd rose to their feet as Thomas Borden kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving James Bergstrom. That made the score 1-1 in the 32 minute of play. After 34 played minutes Orange County Cookies got a freekick which was hit by Stewart Whatley. Benito Paris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sylvester Purvis in the 39th minute of play. In the 42nd match minute, Orange County Cookies was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bennett Baca to maneuver through the defense.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cristobal Carmichael made a kick off. If Cristobal Carmichael had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55th minute, Nils-Christian Overå hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 57 minutes into the game, Orange County Cookies's Stewart Whatley nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. James Bergstrom made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 68th minute, Cobi Wilhelm reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Benito Paris. The goal made the score 2-3. Tesla TEC's Cobi Wilhelm got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 73 minutes into the match, Tesla TEC's Franklin Reyna sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benito Paris narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 74th minute, Charles Saunders hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. James Bergstrom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charles Saunders, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Franklin Reyna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brent Cherry sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match was over Tesla TEC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Orange County Cookies throughout the match.
