Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Johnny Eckert started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 8th minute, Terry Call ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kristofer Whittaker was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Kristofer Whittaker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johnny Eckert, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Johnny Eckert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kristofer Whittaker having to interfere. Terry Call scored 2-0 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kristofer Whittaker, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Deshawn Andrews recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 27th match minute, Phillipsburg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Darin Fleming to maneuver through the defense. 29 minutes into the match, Pine Crest AFC's Julian Hammer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kory Hall narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Pine Crest AFC booed when Phillipsburg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Porter Greenberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Phillipsburg's Terry Call got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pine Crest AFC's Kristofer Whittaker proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Pine Crest AFC from getting a goal against them. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Julian Hammer made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Pine Crest AFC's zone, Terry Call stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kristofer Whittaker came out of the goal and Terry Call tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Johnny Eckert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Terry Call sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 60th minute Julian Hammer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kory Hall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 62 played minutes Pine Crest AFC got a freekick which was hit by Brad Bernard. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Johnny Eckert managed to get in a good position for a shot. Phillipsburg's supporters rose to their feet, but Johnny Eckert was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kristofer Whittaker breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 66th match minute, Pine Crest AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brad Bernard to maneuver through the defense. After 68 played minutes Pine Crest AFC got a freekick which was hit by Asher Stiles. 69 minutes into the match, Johnny Eckert had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kristofer Whittaker. Pine Crest AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Johnny Eckert was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. The audience was convinced that Terry Call's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kristofer Whittaker was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. Johnny Eckert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Terry Call's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kristofer Whittaker read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. In the 75th minute, Terry Call ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kristofer Whittaker was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. When Terry Call came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Phillipsburg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Terry Call couldn't finish the play. 82 minutes into the game, Freddy Luke was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pine Crest AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Phillipsburg the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Pine Crest AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 81st minute. Penalty! In the 84th minute there was a penalty for Phillipsburg. Cole Kaufman stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Kristofer Whittaker. 5-0. Johnny Eckert recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 93rdth minute of the game Terry Call who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pine Crest AFC's Kristofer Whittaker was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Johnny Eckert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Kristofer Whittaker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Terry Call came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Phillipsburg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Terry Call couldn't finish the play. When Brad Bernard was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 98 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Pine Crest AFC's Brad Bernard got a free kick in the 99th minute. Johnny Eckert recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 100th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Phillipsburg had played much better football throughout.
