Spectators: 7505 (Terracing: 5629, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Julian Hammer kicked off to start the match. Kristofer Whittaker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oren Thome, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Deshawn Andrews had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anton Sweet made an important save on a dangerous shot by Deshawn Andrews in the 10th minute. Deshawn Andrews could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Anton Sweet made a huge save. Anton Sweet came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Pine Crest AFC's Deshawn Andrews. But to his dismay, Deshawn Andrews quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Claudio Flint sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 22 minutes of play, Pine Crest AFC's Deshawn Andrews made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anton Sweet was left in no man's land by his defense there! Deshawn Andrews sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oren Thome blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kristofer Whittaker having to make a save. If Mervin Meza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oren Thome fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kristofer Whittaker having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Oren Thome to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oren Thome in the 52nd minute of play forced Pine Crest AFC's goalkeeper Kristofer Whittaker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kristofer Whittaker made an important save on a dangerous shot by Colby Reaves in the 54th minute. In the 55th minute, Claudio Flint hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pine Crest AFC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Oren Thome 56 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. Pine Crest AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 61st minute, when Oren Thome scored to the left of an out of position Kristofer Whittaker, making the score, 2-2. 65 minutes into the game, Pine Crest AFC's Deshawn Andrews nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anton Sweet made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oren Thome in the 76th minute of play forced Pine Crest AFC's goalkeeper Kristofer Whittaker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kristofer Whittaker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oren Thome, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Anton Sweet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Hammer in the 83rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Deshawn Andrews in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anton Sweet saved Olivehurst from getting behind. In a very dangerous position, a player in Olivehurst fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 91st minute. Penalty! The referee gave Pine Crest AFC a penalty, 93 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Otis Kennedy, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Olivehurst's Anton Sweet. 4-2. For all the effort they put into the match, the Olivehurst players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Pine Crest AFC.
