Chandler Soccer Club's Renaldo Mueller played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johnny Eckert in the 4th minute of play. Terry Call sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 8thth minute of the game Johnny Eckert who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chandler Soccer Club's Renaldo Mueller was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 12 played minutes Chandler Soccer Club got a freekick which was hit by Nicholas Humphries. After a defensive mix-up in Phillipsburg's zone, Whitney Mack stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kory Hall came out of the goal and Whitney Mack tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Brice Crane recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 28 minutes into the game, Geraldo Parra was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Phillipsburg's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chandler Soccer Club the free kick. After 33 played minutes, Phillipsburg's Bernardo Thorne shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Renaldo Mueller came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Phillipsburg reached it. After a rather tough play, Chandler Soccer Club's J.P. Bliss got a free kick in the 34th minute. When Phillipsburg's Johnny Eckert in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chandler Soccer Club's goalie prevented a goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Johnny Eckert made the kick off in the second half. When Johnny Eckert came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Phillipsburg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Johnny Eckert couldn't finish the play. Kory Hall showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Whitney Mack in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 76th minute, Sylvester Darby sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Phillipsburg's Kory Hall didn't even have to move. In the 78th minute, Roscoe Gill hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Terry Call received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Johnny Eckert might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Renaldo Mueller. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Johnny Eckert ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Chandler Soccer Club's Renaldo Mueller got control of the ball when Terry Call tried to sneak it across the goal line. Chandler Soccer Club's Renaldo Mueller played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johnny Eckert in the 88th minute of play. After 90 played minutes Phillipsburg got a freekick which was hit by Geraldo Parra. The audience cheered when Sylvester Darby's long shot passed Kory Hall's right side. It was 2-0, 91 minutes into the match. After 95 played minutes Chandler Soccer Club got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Rouse. The audience held their breath when Cole Kaufman in the 97th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Renaldo Mueller's left hand side. The Chandler Soccer Club players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
