Peter Louis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marlon Smith in the 14th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the game, Marlon Smith cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Peter Louis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 28th minute, Cole Sweeney got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ronald Cerna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marlon Smith fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter Louis having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, Delta Football Club's goalkeeper Robbie Skinner had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Javier Clark.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wayne Crouch was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Delta Football Club booed when Pontiac was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tracy Dillard didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 60th minute of the match, Timmy Medina tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Peter Louis saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With a little luck, Pontiac's Peter Louis got control of the ball when Marlon Smith tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pontiac's Peter Louis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marlon Smith in the 64th minute of play. Zachariah Dunlap recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 71st match minute, Pontiac was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronald Cerna to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Timmy Medina in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Peter Louis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Delta Football Club's Marlon Smith came free and shot a quick shot against goal 74 minutes in the game, fortunately Peter Louis had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Marlon Smith's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 76thth minute, Peter Louis skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With 83 minutes on the clock, Russ Dean commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Pontiac fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 82nd minute. Penalty! Mel Ventura shot the penalty kick right outside the post. 97 minutes into the match, Timmy Medina dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Peter Louis, 0-3.
