A collision led to Miami Heat FC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Sergio Pack hit a great ball. Lucas Beebe was extremely unlucky when he, in the 8th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jerrod Peters in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Denver Baird prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 17 minutes into the match, Jerrod Peters notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Texas Cavaliers's Denver Baird. Denver Baird was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Antoine Chamberlain managed to get in a good position for a shot. Texas Cavaliers's supporters rose to their feet, but Antoine Chamberlain was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jon Richey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 23rd minute, Lewis Osborn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lucas Beebe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Jon Richey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th minute Lucas Beebe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jon Richey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the game, one of Miami Heat FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Jon Richey, was totally fooled by Texas Cavaliers's Paul Bassett, who 32 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Lucas Beebe kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jon Richey. That made the score 2-1 in the 38 minute of play. The supporters of Texas Cavaliers booed when Miami Heat FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sergio Pack didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44th minute, Lucas Beebe had to leave the field with a concussion. Miami Heat FC's Mohammed Petersen got his second yellow card of the match in the 45th minute. The referee ordered Mohammed Petersen off the ground. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Jerrod Peters made the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Texas Cavaliers's goalkeeper Denver Baird had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jerrod Peters. Miami Heat FC's Jon Richey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antoine Chamberlain in the 57th minute of play. Jerrod Peters sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65th minute, Sergio Pack hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 66th match minute, Texas Cavaliers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Willie Beam to maneuver through the defense. If Jerrod Peters had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antoine Chamberlain hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Antoine Chamberlain managed to get in a good position for a shot. Texas Cavaliers's supporters rose to their feet, but Antoine Chamberlain was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Denver Baird came out of the goal and Jerrod Peters tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonas Murdock fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denver Baird having to interfere. Jerrod Peters received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Denver Baird tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 81 played minutes Texas Cavaliers got a freekick which was hit by Willie Beam. 87 minutes into the match, Texas Cavaliers's goalkeeper Denver Baird had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jerrod Peters. Lewis Osborn struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Denver Baird didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Miami Heat FC. With a little luck, Texas Cavaliers's Denver Baird got control of the ball when Jerrod Peters tried to sneak it across the goal line. 96 minutes into the match, Texas Cavaliers's Antoine Chamberlain sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jon Richey narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Texas Cavaliers fans cheered their team off the field, for while Miami Heat FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
