Marc Mathis didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Dogs FC's zone, Dustin Shaver stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Esteban Carter came out of the goal and Dustin Shaver tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Otto Fuentes kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Ezra Holbrook fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteban Carter having to interfere. After 10 minutes, Graig Swift mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Warrensville Heights and the Dogs FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Graig Swift kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomas Archer in the 11th minute of play forced Warrensville Heights's goalkeeper Ward Kruse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thomas Archer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ward Kruse having to make a save. Ward Kruse didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 18th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. Esteban Carter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ezra Holbrook in the 21st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dustin Shaver in the 25th minute of play forced Dogs FC's goalkeeper Esteban Carter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Esteban Carter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dustin Shaver in the 27th minute of the match. In the 34th minute of the match, Marc Mathis got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ward Kruse was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Dustin Shaver blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Esteban Carter having to make a save. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dogs FC's goalkeeper Esteban Carter, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ezra Holbrook to strike the kick off in the second half. Kent Weeks's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Esteban Carter read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Ezra Holbrook recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ezra Holbrook was extremely unlucky when he, in the 72nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The long shot by Marlon Stark in the 77th minute really tested Esteban Carter's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Warrensville Heights's Ward Kruse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marc Mathis in the 79th minute of play. Thomas Archer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Warrensville Heights's Ward Kruse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomas Archer in the 91st minute of play. Marc Mathis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marc Mathis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ward Kruse having to interfere. Dogs FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
