Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tad Lindsey got the match started through his kick off. After 7 minutes, Val Merritt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Texas Cavaliers and the Cockeysville players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 7th match minute, Texas Cavaliers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Val Merritt to maneuver through the defense. In the 9th minute Lance Sheffield shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Busch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, Willie Beam notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Cockeysville's Rolando Busch. Rolando Busch was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lucas Beebe took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rolando Busch. Rolando Busch dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 17th minute, Antoine Chamberlain got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 21st minute, Leif Park hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 27 minutes into the match, Texas Cavaliers's goal looked a bit too open when Zack Padgett came free, but Denver Baird reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Texas Cavaliers's Johnathon Duvall got a free kick in the 27th minute. After having played for 29 minutes, Dustin Watts managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cockeysville's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dustin Watts was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cockeysville's Rolando Busch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Willie Beam in the 32nd minute of play. Rolland Thompson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Denver Baird tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th minute Zack Padgett shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denver Baird saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tad Lindsey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Lance Sheffield fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Texas Cavaliers's protests and gave Lance Sheffield a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Texas Cavaliers getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Lance Sheffield hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Willie Beam during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Cockeysville booed when Texas Cavaliers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Willie Beam didn't get a good kick on the ball. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zack Padgett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cockeysville's Rolando Busch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lance Sheffield in the 78th minute of play. Rolando Busch made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Willie Beam sent off a good shot on target. Rolando Busch made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antoine Chamberlain in the 81st minute. In the 82nd minute, Zack Padgett hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Cockeysville fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Texas Cavaliers were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
