Spectators: 5075 (Terracing: 4045, Seating: 1025, VIP seats: 5) In the 5th minute, Antoine Chamberlain left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Texas Cavaliers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Antoine Chamberlain took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Esteban Carter. Esteban Carter dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After a rather tough play, Dogs FC's Otto Fuentes got a free kick in the 15th minute. Antoine Chamberlain received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Esteban Carter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Texas Cavaliers's goalkeeper Denver Baird, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With an all-out effort, Dogs FC's Denver Baird threw himself towards the right post 29 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Thomas Archer, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 33 minutes into the match, Antoine Chamberlain notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Dogs FC's Esteban Carter. Esteban Carter was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Marc Mathis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 43 minutes, Marc Mathis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dogs FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marc Mathis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 45 minutes into the match, Dogs FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Beebe came free, but Esteban Carter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th match minute, Dogs FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Josef Gilbert to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Marc Mathis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dogs FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marc Mathis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Denver Baird breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thomas Archer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Denver Baird tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 64 minutes, Lance Sheffield mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Texas Cavaliers and the Dogs FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 64 played minutes Texas Cavaliers got a freekick which was hit by Lance Sheffield. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lucas Beebe in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Esteban Carter saved Dogs FC from getting behind. Esteban Carter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Beebe in the 80th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Beebe in the 82nd minute of play forced Dogs FC's goalkeeper Esteban Carter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomas Archer in the 85th minute of play forced Texas Cavaliers's goalkeeper Denver Baird to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Willie Beam hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. If Marc Mathis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thomas Archer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Texas Cavaliers supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Texas Cavaliers would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
