Spectators: 7583 (Terracing: 5765, Seating: 1665, VIP seats: 153) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Jayson Oberle made the kick off which started today's match. Bradley Rader fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Terry Peck having to interfere. In the 5th match minute, Provincetown AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rufus Arden to maneuver through the defense. 13 minutes into the match, Provincetown AFC's goalkeeper Terry Peck had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bradley Rader. Jayson Oberle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Terry Peck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Provincetown AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Jayson Oberle came free, but Terry Peck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 23 minutes into the game, Rufus Arden was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Provincetown AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hokie Nation the free kick. Rufus Arden kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. DeMarcus Kenny showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rufus Arden, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Rufus Arden recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Bradley Rader had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute, Boyd McCracken hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. DeMarcus Kenny made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeff Henson in the 38th minute of play. Terry Peck stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jayson Oberle's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. Bradley Rader's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 45thth minute, Terry Peck skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Hokie Nation's Jayson Oberle slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Terry Peck. That made the score 2-0 after 47 minutes of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Through an outstanding action, after 54 minutes, DeMarcus Kenny successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Jeff Henson succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 54th playminute. Rufus Arden kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. DeMarcus Kenny made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jeff Henson in the 66th minute. A collision led to Provincetown AFC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Shawn Vaughan hit a great ball. Terry Peck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jayson Oberle in the 68th minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Benny Foster notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Provincetown AFC's Terry Peck. Terry Peck was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benny Foster in the 76th minute of play forced Provincetown AFC's goalkeeper Terry Peck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd minute of the match Orlando Vaughn sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Terry Peck skillfully saved the ball. In the 86th minute Jayson Oberle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Terry Peck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Provincetown AFC's Terry Peck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bradley Rader in the 88th minute of play. Terry Peck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jayson Oberle in the 92nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bradley Rader in the 95th minute of play forced Provincetown AFC's goalkeeper Terry Peck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Provincetown AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Hokie Nation.
