Spectators: 7656 (Terracing: 5744, Seating: 1760, VIP seats: 152) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Wayne Crouch took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd match minute, Pontiac was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harry Cordova to maneuver through the defense. Tad Lindsey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 8 minutes into the match, Cockeysville's goalkeeper Rolando Busch had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Javier Clark. Through an outstanding action, after 10 minutes, Rolando Busch successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Zack Padgett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter Louis having to interfere. Zack Padgett struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Peter Louis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cockeysville. In the 23rd minute, Zack Padgett hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rolando Busch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wayne Crouch in the 25th minute of the match. The supporters of Pontiac booed when Cockeysville was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leif Park didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wayne Crouch's late challenge caught a Cockeysville's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wayne Crouch helped the player get up and apologised. In the 38th minute, Wayne Crouch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 42nd minute, Tracy Dillard reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rolando Busch. The goal made the score 1-0. 48 minutes into the game, Zack Padgett cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Peter Louis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tad Lindsey to make the kick off. Zack Padgett might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Peter Louis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zack Padgett ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 58th minute of the match Leif Park shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Peter Louis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Tracy Dillard struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Rolando Busch didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pontiac. 63 minutes into the match, Cockeysville's goal looked a bit too open when Javier Clark came free, but Rolando Busch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wayne Crouch scored 2-1 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rolando Busch, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Tad Lindsey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Tracy Dillard fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pontiac's protests and gave Tracy Dillard a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Pontiac getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Tracy Dillard hit a great ball. Rolando Busch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Javier Clark, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cockeysville's Tad Lindsey got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pontiac's defense didn't have a chance, in the 97th minute, when Tad Lindsey scored to the left of an out of position Peter Louis, making the score, 2-2. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
