Denver Baird tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd minute Antoine Chamberlain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Terry Peck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Terry Peck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antoine Chamberlain in the 44th minute of play. After having played for 47 minutes, Antoine Chamberlain managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Provincetown AFC's Terry Peck proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save Provincetown AFC from getting a goal against them. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Texas Cavaliers eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
