After some careless play in the Texas Cavaliers defense, Marlon Smith kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Denver Baird. The Texas Cavaliers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Denver Baird should have stopped the shot. In the 9th minute, Lucas Beebe fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After having played for 13 minutes, Lucas Beebe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Texas Cavaliers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucas Beebe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The long shot by Kerry Burrell in the 15th minute really tested Robbie Skinner's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the last second Robbie Skinner throw himself and got hold of the ball when Lucas Beebe in the 17thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. 17 minutes into the game, Zachariah Dunlap was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Delta Football Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Texas Cavaliers the free kick. A collision led to Delta Football Club getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Zachariah Dunlap hit a great ball. Robbie Skinner made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antoine Chamberlain in the 19th minute. In the 20th minute, Zachariah Dunlap hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lucas Beebe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robbie Skinner having to interfere. A collision led to Texas Cavaliers getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Willie Beam hit a great ball. Marlon Smith fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denver Baird having to interfere. After 32 minutes, Marlon Smith made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Texas Cavaliers's Denver Baird tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Delta Football Club's Zachariah Dunlap got his second yellow card of the match in the 34th minute. The referee ordered Zachariah Dunlap off the ground. In the 35th match minute, Delta Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zachariah Dunlap to maneuver through the defense. If Antoine Chamberlain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kermit Bragg kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. With his leg Robbie Skinner managed to avoid a goal in the 46thth minute, when Texas Cavaliers's Antoine Chamberlain fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Paul Bassett shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Robbie Skinner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antoine Chamberlain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Timmy Medina charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Timmy Medina the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Timmy Medina hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Lucas Beebe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Texas Cavaliers's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucas Beebe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robbie Skinner breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Robbie Skinner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Beebe in the 75th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lucas Beebe in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Robbie Skinner prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lucas Beebe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Robbie Skinner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Antoine Chamberlain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Antoine Chamberlain struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Robbie Skinner didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Texas Cavaliers. Marlon Smith recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Delta Football Club eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
