Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Naples Manor AFC's Caleb Bullock started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7th minute, Brett Dykes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mathis FC's Kenneth Candido got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With his leg Wyatt Bryant managed to avoid a goal in the 11thth minute, when Mathis FC's Jed Ruiz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Wyatt Bryant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dean Calvert in the 16th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the match, Mathis FC's goal looked a bit too open when Caleb Bullock came free, but Vince Gill reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dean Calvert recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 21 minutes into the match, Jed Ruiz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wyatt Bryant. Naples Manor AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jed Ruiz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Jed Ruiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wyatt Bryant having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Naples Manor AFC's zone, Pablo Grant stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wyatt Bryant came out of the goal and Pablo Grant tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Homer Hood sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caleb Bullock in the 43rd minute of play forced Mathis FC's goalkeeper Vince Gill to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dean Calvert stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 55 played minutes Naples Manor AFC got a freekick which was hit by Derek Street. In the 57th minute, Brett Dykes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 60th match minute, Naples Manor AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Derek Street to maneuver through the defense. 61 minutes into the game, Mathis FC's Dean Calvert nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wyatt Bryant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Kenneth Candido sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jed Ruiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wyatt Bryant having to interfere. Mathis FC's Jed Ruiz got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wyatt Bryant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dean Calvert's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by George Leon in the 72nd minute of play forced Naples Manor AFC's goalkeeper Wyatt Bryant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. George Leon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jed Ruiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Wyatt Bryant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dean Calvert's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. In the 81st minute, Kirby Andrews left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mathis FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Mathis FC's Jed Ruiz got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 86 minutes into the match, Mathis FC's Dean Calvert sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wyatt Bryant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 87th minute Jed Ruiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wyatt Bryant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88th minute Dean Calvert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wyatt Bryant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Jed Ruiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dean Calvert in the 93rd minute of play forced Naples Manor AFC's goalkeeper Wyatt Bryant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Jed Ruiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jed Ruiz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Brett Dykes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vince Gill having to make a save. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Mathis FC had played much better football throughout.
