If Dwayne Tanner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to The Superstars getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Sebastian Hollingsworth hit a great ball. Sebastian Hollingsworth got his second yellow card in the match during the 13th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Sebastian Hollingsworth kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. If Connor Seals had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilfred Hinkle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dana Spicer, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Dana Spicer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wilfred Hinkle having to make a save. Grady Bruner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 29 minutes, Fred English mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Locust Valley AFC and the The Superstars players grew even worse after the yellow card. A hard, long distance shot from Osvaldo Hutchison flew over the goal. The Superstars's Osvaldo Hutchison got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Owen Lancaster hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Wilfred Hinkle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Connor Seals in the 44th minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Grady Bruner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Dana Spicer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Locust Valley AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dana Spicer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilfred Hinkle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 61 minutes into the match, Locust Valley AFC's Dana Spicer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wilfred Hinkle narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvaldo Hutchison in the 69th minute of play forced Locust Valley AFC's goalkeeper Kenny Messer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Connor Seals could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Wilfred Hinkle made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Locust Valley AFC's Dana Spicer slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Wilfred Hinkle. That made the score 0-1 after 82 minutes of play. Dwayne Tanner struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Kenny Messer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Superstars. The Superstars's Jacob Bellamy got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 95 minutes into the game, The Superstars's Osvaldo Hutchison nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kenny Messer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. The Superstars walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
