In the 17thth minute of the game Dwayne Tanner who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Coral Terrace's Roberto Shaffer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rory Perry charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rory Perry the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 18th match minute, Coral Terrace was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rory Perry to maneuver through the defense. When The Superstars's Dwayne Tanner in 19 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Roberto Shaffer guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. In the 27th minute, one of Coral Terrace:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Coral Terrace. The supporters of The Superstars booed when Coral Terrace was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rigoberto Wise didn't get a good kick on the ball. Loren Urbina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Wilfred Hinkle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dwayne Tanner in the 44th minute of play forced Coral Terrace's goalkeeper Roberto Shaffer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rigoberto Wise to strike the kick off in the second half. After 63 played minutes The Superstars got a freekick which was hit by Osvaldo Hutchison. Dwayne Tanner was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 66th minute. The Superstars's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 71st minute, Sebastian Hollingsworth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Coral Terrace's Roberto Shaffer got control of the ball when Grady Bruner tried to sneak it across the goal line.
