After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Rolf Richey managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nicollet FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rolf Richey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wyatt Bryant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jeff Christensen scored 0-2 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rodger Lim, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Jeff Christensen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rubin Cavazos kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Caleb Bullock got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Rolf Richey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 42 minutes into the match, Naples Manor AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Rolf Richey came free, but Wyatt Bryant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Naples Manor AFC's zone, Quinton Grubb stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wyatt Bryant came out of the goal and Quinton Grubb tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jeff Christensen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rolf Richey to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Nicollet FC's Jeremy Calloway got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Rodger Lim was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Stevie Beckman. Larry Boudreaux's late challenge caught a Naples Manor AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Larry Boudreaux helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Naples Manor AFC booed when Nicollet FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Larry Boudreaux didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Jeff Christensen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brett Dykes in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodger Lim saved Nicollet FC from getting behind. When the final whistle sounded Naples Manor AFC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Nicollet FC.
