The supporters of FC Aggieland booed when Coral Terrace was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Doug Dubose didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Quinton Johns managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Aggieland's supporters rose to their feet, but Quinton Johns was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roberto Shaffer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rigoberto Wise hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. When Quinton Johns was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 43 minutes had been played. The supporters of Coral Terrace booed when FC Aggieland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Quinton Johns didn't get a good kick on the ball. Loren Urbina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

After a defensive mix-up in Coral Terrace's zone, Tracy Bravo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roberto Shaffer came out of the goal and Tracy Bravo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 56 played minutes Coral Terrace got a freekick which was hit by Deon Smith. Tracy Bravo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Tracy Bravo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roberto Shaffer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boyd Stark, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Tracy Bravo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tracy Bravo in the 71st minute of play forced Coral Terrace's goalkeeper Roberto Shaffer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Doug Dubose's late challenge caught a FC Aggieland's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
