Palmer Wheeler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Wyatt Bryant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wyatt Bryant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrick Frederick, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Brett Dykes's late challenge caught a Downingtown's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Brett Dykes helped the player get up and apologised. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Palmer Wheeler managed to get in a good position for a shot. Downingtown's supporters rose to their feet, but Palmer Wheeler was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wyatt Bryant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Stevie Beckman, 16 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 18th minute, Derek Street hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Palmer Wheeler in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wyatt Bryant saved Naples Manor AFC from getting behind. Wyatt Bryant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrick Frederick, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Palmer Wheeler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Naples Manor AFC's zone, Palmer Wheeler stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wyatt Bryant came out of the goal and Palmer Wheeler tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Naples Manor AFC's Wyatt Bryant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrick Frederick in the 26th minute of play. Brett Dykes got his second yellow card in the match during the 34th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 35th minute, Brett Dykes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Naples Manor AFC's goalkeeper Wyatt Bryant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Wyatt Bryant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrick Frederick in the 40th minute of the match. If Rodrick Frederick had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodrick Frederick fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wyatt Bryant having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jeff Christensen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rodrick Frederick fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wyatt Bryant having to interfere. After having played for 54 minutes, Palmer Wheeler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Downingtown's supporters crossed their fingers, but Palmer Wheeler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Naples Manor AFC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Saul Cobb hit a great ball. Rodrick Frederick sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Palmer Wheeler recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Naples Manor AFC's goalkeeper Wyatt Bryant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Downingtown getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Hugh McCollum hit a great ball. Daren Avila kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. When Saul Cobb came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Naples Manor AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Saul Cobb couldn't finish the play. If Palmer Wheeler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodrick Frederick got free with Wyatt Bryant in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Naples Manor AFC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
