Spectators: 6803 (Terracing: 5100, Seating: 1550, VIP seats: 153) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Dana Spicer kicked off to start the match. Kenny Messer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barry Bland in the 3rd minute of the match. If Dana Spicer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 8 in the game by Connor Seals from a close distance when the talented Stan Ferreira managed to make a qualified save. Wixom FC's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dana Spicer in the 11th minute of play forced Wixom FC's goalkeeper Stan Ferreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eliseo Aaron recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kenny Messer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alejandro Marsh in the 13th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Locust Valley AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Alejandro Marsh came free, but Kenny Messer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Eliseo Aaron came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Wixom FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eliseo Aaron couldn't finish the play. Alejandro Marsh took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kenny Messer. Kenny Messer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Connor Seals could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Stan Ferreira made a huge save. After 23 minutes, Wilber Garcia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wixom FC and the Locust Valley AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Wixom FC's Stan Ferreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dana Spicer in the 25th minute of play. In the 27th minute Eliseo Aaron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kenny Messer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eliseo Aaron kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Alejandro Marsh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Kenny Messer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Connor Seals managed to get in a good position for a shot. Locust Valley AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Connor Seals was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stan Ferreira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alejandro Marsh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kenny Messer having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nigel Li during the 49th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Locust Valley AFC booed when Wixom FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 49 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nigel Li didn't get a good kick on the ball. 50 minutes into the match, Locust Valley AFC's Noah Michel broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Alejandro Marsh made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dana Spicer in the 55th minute of play forced Wixom FC's goalkeeper Stan Ferreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Alejandro Marsh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alejandro Marsh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Kenny Messer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Connor Seals fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Locust Valley AFC's protests and gave Connor Seals a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Wixom FC booed when Locust Valley AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Connor Seals didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Wixom FC's Wilber Garcia got a free kick in the 73rd minute. 1-1 became the score in the 75th minute when Connor Seals elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Wixom FC's Stan Ferreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Connor Seals in the 78th minute of play. Colby Hays kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Locust Valley AFC's Kenny Messer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Locust Valley AFC from getting a goal against them. Josiah Palacios kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Connor Seals fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stan Ferreira having to interfere. Dana Spicer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Stan Ferreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 98 minutes into the match, Eliseo Aaron notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Locust Valley AFC's Kenny Messer. Kenny Messer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Locust Valley AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Wixom FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Wixom FC.
