An unexpectedly hard shot by Grady Bruner in the 5th minute of play forced FC Aggieland's goalkeeper Jefferson Magee to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Quinton Johns struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Wilfred Hinkle didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Aggieland. When the match clock showed 9 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Dwayne Tanner sped through FC Aggieland's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jefferson Magee. Tracy Bravo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilfred Hinkle having to interfere. The supporters of FC Aggieland booed when The Superstars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dwayne Tanner didn't get a good kick on the ball. Quinton Johns recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to FC Aggieland getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Rico Ledbetter hit a great ball. Grady Bruner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jefferson Magee having to interfere. Rich Horton's late challenge caught a The Superstars's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rich Horton helped the player get up and apologised. After 27 played minutes FC Aggieland got a freekick which was hit by Rich Horton. Zane Stafford charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zane Stafford the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of The Superstars booed when FC Aggieland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zane Stafford didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd minute, Dwayne Tanner got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 38th minute, Dwayne Tanner made a precise shot to the right of Jefferson Magee. FC Aggieland's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. If Tracy Bravo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tracy Bravo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilfred Hinkle having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Quinton Johns to make the kick off. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind The Superstars's goalkeeper Wilfred Hinkle, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 57 minutes, Tracy Bravo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Aggieland's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tracy Bravo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 64th minute there was a penalty for FC Aggieland. Graig Avalos stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Wilfred Hinkle. 1-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Grady Bruner managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Superstars's supporters rose to their feet, but Grady Bruner was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jefferson Magee breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Dwayne Tanner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Allan Woodward charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The FC Aggieland fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Grady Bruner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute.
