With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alejandro Marsh in the 8th managed to get into a good position. Wixom FC's Eliseo Aaron got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alejandro Marsh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kenny Messer having to interfere. In the 19th minute, Fred English hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eliseo Aaron could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Kenny Messer made a huge save. The supporters of Locust Valley AFC booed when Wixom FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Barry Bland didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dana Spicer struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Stan Ferreira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Locust Valley AFC. A collision led to Locust Valley AFC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Owen Lancaster hit a great ball. Locust Valley AFC's Kenny Messer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Aaron in the 95th minute of play. In the 96th minute, Dana Spicer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wilber Garcia charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wilber Garcia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Wilber Garcia kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match. Locust Valley AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
