Sawmills's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Future Kings the free kick. Hans Trevino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bronson Silva, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Roosevelt Tran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ross McKinnon made in the 17th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Future Kings's German Hodge. Hans Trevino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bronson Silva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 27 played minutes Sawmills got a freekick which was hit by Lazaro Whalen. Bronson Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hans Trevino having to interfere. After having played for 32 minutes, Bronson Silva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sawmills's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bronson Silva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Roosevelt Tran blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hans Trevino having to make a save. Bronson Silva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 38 minutes of play Sawmills's Wendell Everett was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Wendell Everett hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Roosevelt Tran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hans Trevino having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Bronson Silva made the kick off in the second half. Hans Trevino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Garret Potts, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Sawmills's Bronson Silva got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hans Trevino didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bronson Silva went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Future Kings defense, Bronson Silva kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hans Trevino. The Future Kings fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hans Trevino should have stopped the shot. Bronson Silva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Hans Trevino made a huge save. With a little luck, Future Kings's Hans Trevino got control of the ball when Bronson Silva tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bronson Silva got free with Hans Trevino in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bronson Silva in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hans Trevino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nathan Groves stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Genaro McManus's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. A collision led to Future Kings getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Johnny Fox hit a great ball. Bronson Silva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
