Roosevelt Tran started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Sawmills getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Wendell Everett hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 8 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Rodger Hand sped through Sawmills's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nathan Groves. In the 11th minute, Van Camacho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rodger Hand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 18 minutes into the match, Sawmills's Bronson Silva sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Derek Hayden narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Bronson Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Derek Hayden took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roosevelt Tran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the match, Many's goal looked a bit too open when Roosevelt Tran came free, but Derek Hayden reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute, Roosevelt Tran got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Derek Hayden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wendell Everett in the 31st minute of the match. Roosevelt Tran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Derek Hayden tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 37 minutes of play, Many's Simon Adams made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nathan Groves was left in no man's land by his defense there! Derek Hayden showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roosevelt Tran, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. With a little luck, Many's Derek Hayden got control of the ball when Bronson Silva tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rodger Hand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rodger Hand to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Sawmills's zone, Simon Adams stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nathan Groves came out of the goal and Simon Adams tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 57thth minute of the game Rodger Hand who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sawmills's Nathan Groves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Many's Rodger Hand sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nathan Groves narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 66th match minute, Sawmills was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roosevelt Tran to maneuver through the defense. Bronson Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Derek Hayden tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 71 minutes into the game, Roosevelt Tran cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Derek Hayden was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nathan Groves went to the wrong direction when Jessie Cornelius was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Simon Adams could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Nathan Groves made a huge save. Bronson Silva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Van Camacho hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Evan Jenkins took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 87th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Derek Hayden. Many's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Bronson Silva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Simon Adams could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 98th minute of the match, but Nathan Groves made a huge save. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Many eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
