When Whitney Rowell came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the flatos F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Whitney Rowell couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the flatos F.C. defense, Roosevelt Tran kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mario Toney. The flatos F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mario Toney should have stopped the shot. 16 minutes into the game, Lloyd Hatcher cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. The supporters of flatos F.C. booed when Sawmills was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roosevelt Tran didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Whitney Rowell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bronson Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mario Toney having to interfere. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 55 minutes into the game, one of flatos F.C.:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 57th minute there was a penalty for Sawmills. Evan Jenkins stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Mario Toney. 2-1. After a rather tough play, Sawmills's Wendell Everett got a free kick in the 60th minute. If Whitney Rowell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roosevelt Tran in the 67th minute of play forced flatos F.C.'s goalkeeper Mario Toney to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 70 minutes of play, Sawmills's Roosevelt Tran made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mario Toney was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 74thth minute of the game Roosevelt Tran who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but flatos F.C.'s Mario Toney was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in flatos F.C.'s zone, Bronson Silva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mario Toney came out of the goal and Bronson Silva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Whitney Rowell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the flatos F.C. defense, Roosevelt Tran kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mario Toney. When Roosevelt Tran was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 93 minutes had been played. A collision led to Sawmills getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Roosevelt Tran hit a great ball. 96 minutes into the match, Sawmills's goal looked a bit too open when Whitney Rowell came free, but Nathan Groves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sawmills's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
