Tod Herring fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Derek Hayden having to interfere. Derek Hayden didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 42nd minute, which inside left pole to 1-0.

Carson Browne did an outstanding performance 86 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 3-1 to the right of an irritated Derek Hayden in the goal. 91 minutes into the match, Highland Beach's Travis Creech sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Derek Hayden narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience held their breath when Darren Camacho in the 96th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Derek Hayden's left hand side. There was no doubt that Highland Beach were the better team. Highland Beach's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
