Spectators: 5040 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 40) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Drew Aguilar started the match with the kick off. If Drew Aguilar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. blitzzz's Graham McClure suffered a fractured collar bone after 9 minutes and couldn't finish the game. blitzzz made a substitution. Gerald Fritz replaced Graham McClure. After a rather tough play, Sawmills's Wendell Everett got a free kick in the 10th minute. Elliott Paquette showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roosevelt Tran, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. When Gerald Fritz came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the blitzzz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gerald Fritz couldn't finish the play. Lorenzo Greenwood recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nathan Groves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lance Roach, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. A collision led to Sawmills getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Gabriel Vincent hit a great ball. Sawmills's Nathan Groves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Drew Aguilar in the 26th minute of play. Bronson Silva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Elliott Paquette made a huge save. Bronson Silva struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Elliott Paquette didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sawmills. In the 32nd minute, Gerald Fritz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nathan Groves stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Drew Aguilar's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Drew Aguilar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ross McKinnon charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ross McKinnon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Sylvester Jarrell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lance Roach recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Drew Aguilar put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Nathan Groves. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Roosevelt Tran to strike the kick off in the second half. Nathan Groves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Drew Aguilar, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. If Lance Roach had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roosevelt Tran took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elliott Paquette. Elliott Paquette dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Drew Aguilar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elliott Paquette showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bronson Silva in the 63rd minute of the match. Nathan Groves made an important save on a dangerous shot by Drew Aguilar in the 64th minute. blitzzz's Lance Roach got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lance Roach sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 75th minute, Drew Aguilar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The blitzzz fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Drew Aguilar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Nathan Groves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 82 minutes into the match, Wendell Everett had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Elliott Paquette. blitzzz's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wendell Everett was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Drew Aguilar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nathan Groves having to make a save. Bronson Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Elliott Paquette tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 91 minutes into the game, Lance Roach cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Nathan Groves was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. blitzzz played a much better game than Sawmills and deserved their victory. The Sawmills players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
