Gregg Jensen charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gregg Jensen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Andy Cole took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from George Joyce, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Opportunity's Andy Cole played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by George Joyce in the 9th minute of play. George Joyce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 21 minutes into the match, Opportunity's goal looked a bit too open when Daren McGill came free, but Andy Cole reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rene Sandoval hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Opportunity's Andy Cole played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by George Joyce in the 26th minute of play. Andy Cole came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by La Feria AFC's Daren McGill. But to his dismay, Daren McGill quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daren McGill in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andy Cole prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kirby Riley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denny Mercado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andy Cole showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from George Joyce in the 37th minute of the match. George Joyce received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Andy Cole tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andy Cole showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from George Joyce, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Duncan McNeill made a kick off. The audience was convinced that George Joyce's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Andy Cole was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Gregg Jensen struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Kirby Riley didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Opportunity. When Terence Connor fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Feria AFC's protests and gave Terence Connor a yellow card for diving instead. In the 59th minute, Terence Connor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If George Joyce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andy Cole showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from George Joyce in the 78th minute of the match. 84 minutes into the match, La Feria AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Olin Richey came free, but Kirby Riley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Edgar Charles fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Feria AFC's protests and gave Edgar Charles a yellow card for diving instead. Edgar Charles hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match.
