Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Duncan McNeill kicked off to start the match. 11 minutes into the game, Kerry Crockett was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Opportunity's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Selinsgrove the free kick. In the 11th match minute, Opportunity was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kerry Crockett to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Opportunity booed when Selinsgrove was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joey Knight didn't get a good kick on the ball. Selinsgrove's Darell Flood came free and shot a quick shot against goal 17 minutes in the game, fortunately Andy Cole had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Darell Flood in the 19thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Andy Cole, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Gregg Jensen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Levi Finley having to make a save. Andy Cole showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joey Knight, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Darell Flood's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Andy Cole firmly grabbed it by the left post. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Joey Knight made the kick off in the second half. Joey Knight fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andy Cole having to interfere. Joey Knight sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Andy Cole stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Darell Flood's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Andy Cole took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darell Flood, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Darell Flood struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Andy Cole didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Selinsgrove. Opportunity's Andy Cole played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joey Knight in the 68th minute of play. Joey Knight fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andy Cole having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Darell Flood in the 80th minute of play forced Opportunity's goalkeeper Andy Cole to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rene Sandoval hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Selinsgrove's Darell Flood got a free kick in the 88th minute. When the referee ended the match the Selinsgrove players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
