In the 28th minute, Terence Connor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Cristobal Juarez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Wilfred Rosado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from George Joyce, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daren McGill fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilfred Rosado having to interfere. The audience was convinced that George Joyce's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wilfred Rosado was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Wilfred Rosado made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when George Joyce sent off a good shot on target. Doug Bragg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kirby Riley read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when George Joyce stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Doug Bragg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kirby Riley having to interfere. Kirby Riley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristobal Juarez in the 54th minute of the match. Doug Bragg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kirby Riley read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Cristobal Juarez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kirby Riley having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristobal Juarez in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kirby Riley prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in La Feria AFC's zone, Cristobal Juarez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kirby Riley came out of the goal and Cristobal Juarez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, La Feria AFC's Kirby Riley got control of the ball when Doug Bragg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Blake Hand kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Cristobal Juarez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Great Lakes FC's zone, Josef Burch stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilfred Rosado came out of the goal and Josef Burch tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. La Feria AFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Great Lakes FC for a fine match.
