Spectators: 6785 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1785, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Lenny Park started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Milton Suggs during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Trinidad Oliver received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Otto Madrid tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caleb Lowry in the 10th minute of play forced Peoria's goalkeeper Otto Madrid to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mohammad Ramsey took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 13th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Otto Madrid. Peoria's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Caleb Lowry sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joe Villa struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Otto Madrid didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for HTX ASTRO. In the 37th minute, Caleb Lowry got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Graham Dominguez kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joe Villa in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Otto Madrid saved Peoria from getting behind. Otto Madrid showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caleb Lowry in the 46th minute of the match. After 47 played minutes Peoria got a freekick which was hit by Elliot Grover. Otto Madrid stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joe Villa's shot from short distance in the 50th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joe Villa was the one to do the kick off. When Caleb Lowry came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the HTX ASTRO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Caleb Lowry couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Thaddeus Byrd's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Duane Joyce was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Lenny Park blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Duane Joyce having to make a save. After having played for 65 minutes, Graham Dominguez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peoria's supporters crossed their fingers, but Graham Dominguez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Duane Joyce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lenny Park, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rigoberto Arroyo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Otto Madrid tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Caleb Lowry got free with Otto Madrid in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Caleb Lowrys short, quick shot in the 74thth minute got Otto Madrid to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 86th play minute Caleb Lowry came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Otto Madrid. 0-3. 91 minutes into the match, Peoria's Thaddeus Byrd sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Duane Joyce narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Trinidad Oliver had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded HTX ASTRO left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Peoria.
