Spectators: 6540 (Terracing: 5225, Seating: 1300, VIP seats: 15) Casey Rosado started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 4 minutes into the game, Casey Rosado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Dana Watkins was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dana Watkins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kenny Pierce, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dana Watkins came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Glen Rock AFC's Kenny Pierce. But to his dismay, Kenny Pierce quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. If Santo Mallory had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th match minute, Glen Rock AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lincoln Temple to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ian Gray during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Hitchcock getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Ian Gray hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Casey Rosado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dana Watkins was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. A collision led to Hitchcock getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Rolf Keene hit a great ball. Casey Rosado scored 0-3 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dana Watkins, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Casey Rosado came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Glen Rock AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Casey Rosado couldn't finish the play. 29 minutes into the match, Kenny Pierce notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Hitchcock's Dana Watkins. Dana Watkins was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Kenny Pierce's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dana Watkins read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Dana Watkins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Casey Rosado in the 45th minute of the match. Kenny Pierce recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Todd Rice stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, Glen Rock AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dale Hoskins to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 56 minutes, Ferdinand Bernstein managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hitchcock's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ferdinand Bernstein was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Santo Mallory had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Todd Rice managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hitchcock's supporters rose to their feet, but Todd Rice was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jerome Cates breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Todd Rice had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th match minute, Glen Rock AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dale Hoskins to maneuver through the defense. Santo Mallory recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Santo Mallory sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Hitchcock booed when Glen Rock AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moses Loomis didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Todd Rice in the 71st minute of play forced Glen Rock AFC's goalkeeper Jerome Cates to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rd minute, Kenny Pierce got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 76 minutes, Todd Rice managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hitchcock's supporters crossed their fingers, but Todd Rice was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 80 minutes into the match, Santo Mallory had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jerome Cates. Glen Rock AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Santo Mallory was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. After a rather tough play, Hitchcock's Rolf Keene got a free kick in the 90th minute. Santo Mallory fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerome Cates having to interfere. The Glen Rock AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
