Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Simon Davies started the match with the kick off. In the 3rdth minute of the game Von Ross who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SLC FC's Kip Wyatt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 5 played minutes Von Ross rounded SLC FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. When the match clock showed 10 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Von Ross sped through SLC FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Kip Wyatt. With his leg Kip Wyatt managed to avoid a goal in the 18thth minute, when Samson AFC's Tad Platt fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a defensive mix-up in SLC FC's zone, Tad Platt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kip Wyatt came out of the goal and Tad Platt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Von Ross kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Kip Wyatt. That made the score 3-0 in the 23 minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Von Ross in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kip Wyatt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in SLC FC's zone, Von Ross stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kip Wyatt came out of the goal and Von Ross tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Von Ross kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Kip Wyatt. That made the score 5-0 in the 43 minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Von Ross stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Samson AFC's Kirk Hearn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simon Davies in the 55th minute of play. Tad Platt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Kip Wyatt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Von Ross recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 68th minute, Scotty Hargrove ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kip Wyatt was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Kip Wyatt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tad Platt in the 71st minute of the match. After 74 played minutes Samson AFC got a freekick which was hit by Arturo London. Tad Platt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stefan Deal during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Stefan Deal hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Kip Wyatt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tad Platt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th minute Von Ross shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kip Wyatt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Von Ross came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Samson AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Von Ross couldn't finish the play. Tad Platt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Kip Wyatt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kirk Hearn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simon Davies, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Von Ross in the 96th minute of play forced SLC FC's goalkeeper Kip Wyatt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sal Clayton struck a weak shot in the 99th minute. Kip Wyatt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Samson AFC. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Samson AFC had played much better football throughout.
