The crowd rose to their feet as Enrique Guy kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dana Watkins. That made the score 3-0 in the 47 minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Todd Rice was the one to do the kick off. Zackary McQueen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Santo Mallory in the 53rd minute. Santo Mallory received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Zackary McQueen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
