Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) SLC FC's Simon Davies started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 2 minutes into the game, Harry Velasquez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Waverly FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SLC FC the free kick. In the 2nd match minute, Waverly FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harry Velasquez to maneuver through the defense. 5 minutes into the match, Waverly FC's goal looked a bit too open when Simon Davies came free, but Everett Boudreaux reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 7th minute, Harry Velasquez made a precise shot to the right of Kip Wyatt. SLC FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. A collision led to SLC FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Brad Overton hit a great ball. In the 21st match minute, Waverly FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roscoe Martin to maneuver through the defense. Kip Wyatt made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Jim McNeill sent off a good shot on target. If Harry Velasquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th match minute, Waverly FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Scot Ervin to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of SLC FC booed when Waverly FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roscoe Martin didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Houston Woodward had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jim McNeill to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Harry Velasquez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Kip Wyatt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Houston Woodward fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kip Wyatt having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jim McNeill in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kip Wyatt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Harry Velasquez struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Kip Wyatt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Waverly FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harry Velasquez in the 76th minute of play forced SLC FC's goalkeeper Kip Wyatt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jim McNeill in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kip Wyatt saved SLC FC from getting behind. Harry Velasquez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the SLC FC defense, Harry Velasquez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kip Wyatt. The SLC FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kip Wyatt should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jim McNeill in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kip Wyatt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kip Wyatt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jim McNeill in the 89th minute of the match. Harry Velasquez struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Kip Wyatt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Waverly FC. Ben Manning charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ben Manning the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ben Manning hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Harry Velasquez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Kip Wyatt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Waverly FC fully deserved thier win.
